Radio Pakistan To Air Spacial Transmission On 23rd March 2017
The nation will celebrate Pakistan Day on 23rd March (Thursday) with national zeal and zest.
To mark the day, Radio Pakistan will air special programmes, including messages of President and Prime Minister, radio reports on Pakistan Day Parade, special features, dramas, documentaries, reports and national songs.
Plan of this special transmission on Radio Pakistan was presented by Khursheed Ahmed Malik, Director Programmes during a high-level meeting chaired by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said a special campaign to highlight the efforts of heroes and great personalities of Pakistan Movement has been launched from 14th of this month.
In a statement, she said the campaign will continue till 14th of August as desired by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the campaign will project important milestones in the history of Pakistan.
She asked Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television to prepare special programs to highlight to commemorate the freedom struggle.
